I'm 16 of 22 so far. Louisville and Utah St. have screwed me so far but all my elite 8 guys and 14 of my sweet 16 are still alive. Not bad for only watching and paying attention to the Pac 10.

March Madness is great because of the single elimination format. Makes for exciting games and it's always great to see young kids playing hard and playing as a team. I also love the contrast between the east, west and middle america and the diversity of college basketball makes for good TV.

With all that said, let me tell you what I hate about March Madness:

1 - Bracketologists - Don't be the guy that fills out 14 brackets and all of a sudden is the professor of college hoops. You don't know shit, that's why you filled out 14 brackets. The whole bracket thing is a fun way to enjoy the tournament until the A-hole comes in with the sleepers and dark horses and theories of senior classmen v. underclassmen, etc.....Don't kill it for everyone else 14 bracket guy.

2 - Non-pro athlete analysts - I like Charles, Kenny and Anthony commentating. I don't like obscure college athlete dude who never made it to the pros telling me who is good and breaking down film. you got no credibility dude...give it a rest.

3 - big East love - Pac 10 hate - Stop hating on the Pac 10 b/c we come from the land of milk and honey and California sun and we are on the coast that everyone wants to be in. How many big east teams got bounced in round 2????

4 - cheerleaders - Just Kidding, I love all the college cheerleaders on TV....show more cheerleaders please

5 - the school bands - Dude, seriously, you flew out the entire horn section. How many nerds can you fit on one plane and why would you want to? Keep the band at home and bring more cheerleaders.

I got Ohio state for it all. I usually go with the overall number 1....I'm looking forward to UConn v. San Diego St. That will be one of the best games in the sweet 16.

Where you fishing...trout farm or wild trout?

trout farm, use any of those smelly trout baits, like those cheeses or salmon eggs. Those trout farm trouts pretty much eat anything.

wild trout, another story...minnows (lures) are good, and other top water lures....fly fishing lures are a matter of preference....all in all, tough one to answer because the possibilities are vast

Congradulations NBA, the Carmelo deal to NY will certainly be the end of competition for the lower tiered teams. Now, all the "stars" of the NBA will join forces because it's a lot easier to win championships when you implement the "can't beat em join em" strategy. I guess it's typical of the younger 20 something generation. Lazy, no work ethic, no attention span, instant gratification. Why read a book or magazine article when you can go on the Internet and read 30 headlines? Make no mistake about it, after Kobe and Duncan retire, the NBA will go to shit. Lebron started it and Melo is continueing it and every great player that comes out will look to join forces instead of being competitive and trying to beat the rival instead of joining him. As for the younger guys in the NBA, you all need to look at Kevin Durant and the OKC Thunder. Their doing it like men, while the rest of you are going out like punks. Look at Derek Rose and the Bulls, doing it like men.

So now what, the NBA will have 30 teams but 20 of them will be irrelevant....GREAT. Why stop there, let's teach our kids to stop trying after the first grade. Let's start teaching our kids that it's ok to stop trying if you don't succeed the first time.

I'm a huge laker fan but this is the one year that I actually wouldn't mind of the Spurs took it all. What a slap in the face it would be to the "Heatles" (what a joke) and NY.

Make no mistake about it Commissioner Stern, the NBA as far as a product just got worse and NBA fans are about as tired of you and your fat little greedy fingers, as they are tired of NBA "stars" that haven't won shit, holding their cities and teams hostage, just so they can get together because it's too hard to beat LA or the Spurs or the Thunder or the Bulls or other teams that actually build mostly thru the draft.

The knicks will still suck because Melo and STAT don't play defense but who cares, because even though defense wins championships, defense is boring and I'm lazy and want it now........

At age 34, Fedor was getting up there. And few fighters had the fighting history that Fedor had through Pride and now Strikeforce. But its not the fact that he lost twice in a row, or that he got beaten up and possibly retired. It's how he went out. Start of the second round, he throws a punch and Silva shot in, got top position and soon enough got the mount with too much time left in the round and it was over. Fedor didn't even attempt to stuff the shot, he just got taken down as if he knew he was done. Take nothing away from Silva, I don't think Silva would be afraid of King Kong. But one thing Fedor always had, which he didn't have Saturday night was that menacing presence in the ring and Silva stood toe to toe in that first round during the three exchanges the fighters had with no fear of being hit by Fedor. I guess there is a first time for everything.

Make no mistake, Fedor is a legend in the sport, a pioneer, a benchmark and the greatest mixed martial artist we have seen thus far. Everything about Fedor said warrior and fighter. But MMA and Boxing are the only two sports out there where the only way the top dog retires is by getting retired by the young gun. No other sport makes its champions fight til they lose. That is what I hate about mma but that is why mma is truly the toughest sport around.

Fedor will always be the Last Emperor of MMA.
